Mark 10: 46-52
Bartimaeus, the blind beggar in Mark 10, cried out to Jesus with persistent faith even when the crowd tried to silence him. Though he couldn’t see Jesus, he knew exactly who he was calling to—the promised Son of David—and his desperate cry cut through the noise. Jesus stopped, called him forward, and made space for grace to break in. Bartimaeus threw off anything that might hold him back, voiced his need, and received his sight through faith. His story reminds us that Jesus hears our persistent cries, knows us by name, and invites us to truly know Him—the One who is the Face of Grace.
