Transformed
luke 19: 1-10
This week we looked at Zacchaeus in Luke 19, linking his story to the outcast, the unwell, the heartbroken, and the overlooked we’ve been exploring in recent weeks. Though wealthy, Zacchaeus was lonely and rejected, and the “crowd” became a picture of the barriers—pride, self‑reliance, and the pull of the world—that can keep us from Jesus.
Everything changed when Jesus called him by name and stepped into his life with personal grace, leading Zacchaeus to respond with repentance, generosity, and real transformation. Jesus’ declaration of salvation over his whole household reminded us that God’s work often reaches far beyond one person, and ultimately affirmed that there is room for everyone at Renewal, especially those others might overlook.
